Storyteller and mime Antonio Rocha (pronounced "Haw-sha") is coming to Tamworth to offer a community storytelling workshop for adults and children, work with the kindergarten through eighth grade at the K.A. Brett School and give a riveting performance on Friday night. Antonio, originally from Brazil, tells dynamic, atmospheric stories using an elegant mixture of acting, mime, and voice. His well-crafted transitions allow audiences to immerse fully in the tales he tells—to lose track of what is mimed or spoken, what is real or imagined. Antonio uses his voice not only to portray characters but also to project realistic sound effects creating an otherworldly experience for his audience.
This is the culminating performance of a week-long residency. It is a Choose-Your-Own Ticket Price event. Get your tickets here!
