Part two of a four-part class series presented by Art Works Chocorua Creative Art Center. This week the visiting local author is Bonnie J. Toomey, who will tackle Writing Our Stories From Personal Artifacts. Even the acorn cap in your coat pocket has a story to tell...looking at the world once again with fresh eyes to find new meaning. Brief lecture and exercise on point of view, writing exercise, writing workshop peer-reviewed, revision and read-aloud.

Bonnie J. Toomey teaches at Plymouth State University, writes about life in the 21st century. Her stories and poems have been featured in baystateparent Magazine, The Penwood Review, and Parenting New Hampshire Magazine. Sunday columnist at The Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise. Writers should bring a pen and journal or a laptop/iPad, and an artifact which represents a personal moment in time.
