Participants will learn to recognize wild spring edibles by sight, texture, and sometimes even sound, scent, and taste! Folks will learn their properties and how wild edibles can be used for food - cooked and raw. They will learn which parts of local plants are to be eaten and foraged and which to leave. Nearly all of these plants are also beneficial as medicine and for healing. On Saturday, we will be eating wild plants in the field and bringing them back to the kitchen for a prepped snack and beverage.
